3M™ Double-Coated Dielectric Tape 3514 features a clear polyester film for dimensional stability and improved handling with ease of die-cutting and laminating. Tape 3514 features an acrylic adhesive that provides a combination of high wet grab and initial adhesion and good shear holding power to a wide variety of materials.
3M™ Dielectric Tape 3514 performs as a reliable insulator when used in conjunction with buses/foils in thin film solar panels. It consists of a polymeric film with acrylic adhesive on both sides. This tapes can be applied at high speeds using automation equipment, resulting in high productivity during panel manufacturing.
