R&D InternshipTypically for engineering students who aspire to gain experience in the laboratory. Here, you will develop skills, and gain work experience in your field of study. You may get a chance to work in exciting technologies at the heart of tomorrow’s most creative products. Some examples include: Automotive, Electronics, Nanotechnology, Pressure Sensitive Adhesives, Abrasives, Optical Films and Display Technology, Filtration, Composites, and many other 3M Technology Platforms.

MarketingStudents with a degree in business, marketing and management apply for marketing internships. Here they get to experience work in marketing, strategy, and business development projects with the various divisions of 3M. Students are mentored by Brand Managers, Trade Marketers and Product Managers. Interns gain executive exposure and a balance of desk and field work experience.

Corporate Marketing and CommunicationsStudents with a degree in business, marketing and management apply for marketing internships. Interns here enjoy a broad range of portfolio representing total company including public relations, brand identity and image of total 3M, university linkages, corporate social responsibility focusing on education, community and environment.

Information Technology (IT)A broad term, IT includes the use of computers and technology to manage and process information. As an IT professional, you develop, support, and manage computer hardware, computer software, and information networks.
